1 Blazer Committed One Still Open

Vincennes University can add one more player to the division one ranks for next season. Blazers Assistant coach Brian Davis contacted JucoJunction.com today on one of his players signing a national letter of intent for next season. Read what player will be suiting up in the Horizon League next fall in this article.
"Ryan Allen really enjoyed his visit to UW-Milwaukee. Ryan really liked the proximity to home, the coaching staff and the conference" said Davis. Allen the brother of Boston Celtics guard Tony Allen hails from Chicago,IL. Allen prepped out of high school at Notre Dame Prep in Fitchburg,MA.

Allen a versatile player started his college career at Motlow State College in Tennessee before transferring to Vincennes University this past fall. Allen averaged 10 ppg, 4.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists for the Trailblazers this season.
Allen received interest from Illinois-Chicago,Loyola-Illinois and Central Michigan this spring according to Davis. Allen is ranked #93 in the JucoJunction Top 150 this season.
Jon Nwannunu 6-foot-8 freshman is still looking for a school next season. Nwannunu a academic qualifer out of high school can leave Vincennes University with three years to play. Nwannunu recently visited Norfolk State University and Howard University. Nwannunu averaged 5.8 ppg and 3.9 rebounds this season while shooting 58% (76-132) from the floor.
