2008 wing makes a commitment
Freshman Mike Love from Brookhaven College needed only one visit to decide where he wanted to play his college ball after junior college is over.
The 6-foot-5 Love has given a early verbal for the class of 2008 to Texas-Arlington. Love graduated from Forbush High School in North Carolina but relocated to live with

his mother in the Dallas area.
"Love is a two man that's very smooth," said coach Kevin Hurst. "Mike is very coachable. He's like a sponge."
Love took classes last year at Forsyth Tech (NC) part time (Fall) and full time in the spring.
Brookhaven opens its season on Wednesday versus Hill College. The Bears are trying to improve on a 7-23 season from last year.
