Ben Thomas, (SO) 6-foot-7 from Auburn, AL, is a transfer from James Madison University. Thomas is kind of a "tweener" on the floor at forward position. Thomas, a combo forward, has the body of a small forward. Thomas played in just one game at James Madison University last year and netted 3 minutes in the game. Mercer University and Ball State have expressed interest in Thomas this fall according to coach Barnes.
Jeremy Robinson, (SO) 5-foot-10 (170) from Baltimore, MD, is a returner off last year's Eagles team. Robinson, the starting point guard, has a sturdy build on his frame and can really get the ball into the gaps. Jeremy averaged 6.5 ppg and 1.9 assists last season for the Eagles.
Marvel Waithe, (FR) 6-foot-8 (205) from Toronto, Canada, has been around for awhile. Waithe, coming out of Toronto Academy Prep School led by Ro Russell, was set to go to Loyola University in Chicago and to Rutgers University at one time a few seasons back. Waithe never was cleared through the NCAA Clearinghouse the past few seasons and he made his way down to TCC. Waithe, a finesse perimeter player, loves to shoot the three ball. Marvel, a shooting guard - small forward, is a long and wiry athlete.
Jamar Moore, (FR) 6-foot-6 (220) from Coolidge, GA, sat out last year at South Alabama according to Barnes. Moore a small forward his a hard-nosed, stocky small forward. Jamar will work hard on both ends and can get into the paint for baskets.
A.J. Matthews, (FR) 6-foot-10 (210) from Brooklyn, NY, played last season at American Christian in Aston, PA with Tyreke Evans. Matthews, a left-handed post player, is an effortless runner on the floor who gets a lot of putbacks on the offense end. A.J. needs to add some weight to his frame but he can alter shots and rebounds very well on both ends of the floor.
Hugh Robertson, (FR) 6-foot-5 (190) from Macon,GA, is a wing player for the Eagles. Robertson really likes to get out in transition and fill the lane on the break. Robertson can pull up from midrange and knockdown the jumper.
James Goss, (FR) 6-foot-8 (250) from West Palm Beach, FL, is a 28-year-old freshman according to Barnes. James has never been enrolled in school until this fall. Goss, a power forward, is a raw talent with a great body.
