2009 star headed to Stillwater

Jones County Junior College in Mississippi had one of the top freshman in the country in Trenton Marshall this past season. Marshall has made a decision and an early pledge for next season. JucoJunction has the latest on Marshall in this story.

Trenton has indicated that he will attend Oklahoma State University. Jones County assistant Casey Carter confirmed the news for JucoJunction. Marshall averaged 23.8 ppg and 7.5 rebounds this season for Jones County Community College. Jones will play this summer at Jerry Mullens 120 JUCO Camp in Tulsa in early July.

Ole Miss, LSU, Mississippi State and Southern Mississippi all showed interest in Marshall this spring. Marshall's former coach Kyle Rhone has left Jones County for a assistant position at Jacksonville State University. Don "Bubba" Skelton is the new head coach at Jones County Community College.
