2009 Tennessee forward makes commitment

DeAngelo Riley, (FR) 6-foot-8 from Southwest Tennessee Community College, has verbaled to Northern Illinois University according to assistant coach Verties Sails III.

Riley redshirted last season at Redlands Community College in El Reno, OK. He is currently averaging 8 ppg and 6.7 rebounds on the season. DeAngelo liked the idea of playing at Northern Illinois under head coach Ricardo Patton and assistant coach John Anderson, according to Sails. Anderson is a former Memphis high school coach.
