2010 Spotlight on Sheridan College

The Sheridan College Generals in Sheridan, WY should be led this season by four sophomores. The Generals Head Coach Steve Smiley took sometime to give JucoJunction an update on some of his players recruitment today. Read the latest on the Generals in this article.
Antoine Proctor (SO) is a combo guard from Washington, D.C. Proctor is best suited at the off guard for the Generals. Antoine averaged 10 ppg last season in just 16 minutes. Proctor should expect to see those minutes double this season. Eastern Illinois, Sacramento State and Portland State have shown some early interest on the combo guard this fall according to coach Smiley. Proctor averaged 9.5 ppg and 3.6 rebounds during his freshman campaign.

J.R. Cadot, (SO) a small forward, will take his first official visit this coming weekend to Northern Illinois University (Sept 26-27) according to coach Smiley. Cadot played this past summer at Mullens 120 JUCO Camp in Tulsa, OK. Cadot is hearing from Utah, Utah State, South Florida, TCU, San Francisco and DePaul this fall according to coach Smiley.
Cadot averaged 14.9 ppg, 6.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists as a freshman for the Generals. Cadot hails from Nassau, Bahamas.
Charlton Wilson, (SO) 6-foot-7 (295), is looking to improve on his totals as freshman when he recorded 2.6 ppg and 3 rebounds a night. "Charlton played really well this past summer in two showcases," said Smiley. Charlton will be expected to play major minutes this coming year after playing behind NJCAA all-American Moustapha Diarra last season.
Sam Iwueke (SO) prepped at IMG Academy in Florida for a few seasons before landing in Sheridan,WY. Iwueke, a native of England, will have to go the D2/NAIA route according to coach Smiley. Iwueke, a 6-foot-5 combo forward, averaged 5.6 ppg and 4.1 rebounds last season for the Generals.
The Generals will play in Casper, WY on October 16-17 in a Junior College Jamboree at Casper College.
