A commitment and a visit from Midland
Darris Santee, (SO) 6-foot-8 (215) from Midland College in Texas, decided to end his recruitment early and pick the Rebels of UNLV.
Santee has been mentioned with the Rebels for a period of time now decided to make it official recently.

"Darris is a really solid get for the UNLV program, he can really knock down the 10-12 footer and rebounds all over the floor. He was a major player in the Chaps winning the NJCAA title last season," said JucoJunction staff member Bret Swanson.
Santee also received interest from Houston and Oregon State University.
The Chaps also has another member taking a visit this weekend in Tyrone Appleton. Appleton, (SO) 6-foot-3 (195) from Gary, IN, is visiting San Jose State this weekend.
