A Look at Collin Countys Rembert
DeMarquez Rembert, a sharpshooting 6-5, 210 pound small forward from Collin County C.C. in Plano, Tex., committed to Hartford earlier this fall.
Last Friday, JUCO Junction had a chance to watch Rembert in practice. Last year, we viewed him at the Region V Tournament in Richardson, Tex., as well as the Mullen JC Camp this past summer.

Despite not being a great athlete, Rembert is a resourceful player who can really shoot the basketball. He does a lot of little things to help a team win games.
Rembert told JUCO Junction that he was also recruited by Maryland Baltimore County, Southern Illinois, Oral Roberts and Prairie View A&M before he committed to Hartford. He visited Hartford from Sept. 26-28.
"It seemed like the right place for me," Rembert reflected. "I think I can adjust to the system there, and the coaches made me feel at home."
Prior to enrolling at Collin County, Rembert attended Kimball H.S. in Dallas, Tex. He will have two years of eligibility remaining at Hartford.
