ACCAC Jamboree
JucoJunction was in attendance this past weekend for the action from the ACCAC JUCO Jamboree on the campus of Phoenix College. The South Mountain Community College Lions have a whole new team from last season. Head Coach Dan Nichols will look for leadership from sophomore Mike Craig this season.

Craig started his college career at Arizona Western College in Yuma, Ariz. back in the 2009-2010 season for the Marauders. Craig averaged 9.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game that season while shooting 63 percent (126-201) from the floor for Marauders.
"Mike is physically gifted and is a superb athlete on the floor. He looks like he should be playing linebacker on the gridiron," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
Several coaches were in attendance this weekend at the ACCAC Jamboree but one school for sure who had a liking for Craig was Texas Southern University and assistant coach Mark Hsu.
