Ace in the hole
"Taylor Stafford has committed to the University of Evansville" said Eastern Arizona College Head Coach Maurice Leitzke. Stafford, a scoring guard from Duluth, MN will have two seasons to play for the Aces.
Stafford averaged 25 ppg, 4.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists this season for the Gila Monsters. Stafford connected on 43% (241-559) from the floor and made 40% (106-264) from three point range.

Stafford finished his two year career with 1,323 points and made 193 three pointers. He helped the Gila Monsters win 39 games in two seasons including this seasons 19-12 record.
Stafford was named ACCAC Player of the Year and was named 1st Team All Region this season. Stafford was a 3rd Team All-American last season.
"Taylor really liked the coaching staff at Evansville and their family atmosphere. He was very sold on the young up and coming team and the idea of playing in the Missouri Valley Conference" said Leitzke.
