Alabama Southern big men are looking

Head Coach Rob Williams struggled in his first year at Alabama Southern Community College. The Eagles were 12-18 this past season. Coach Williams caught up with JucoJunction today about a few of his post players' recruitment.
Ken Mitchell: (SO) 6-foot-7 (215) from Mobile, AL. Mitchell didn't sign in the fall period with Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. The long-athletic Mitchell struggled at times this year.

"Mitchell is a left-handed 4/3 man that rebounds the ball and has good skills," said Juco Junction staff member Bret Swanson.
Ken averaged 11.7 ppg and 11.5 rebounds this season for the Eagles. The third year player went to Mississippi Gulf Coast CC back in 2004-2005 season and sat out last year with an ACL problem at Alabama Southern CC. Murray State is calling on Mitchell currently.
Daryl Davis: (SO) 6-foot-9 (210) from Mobile, AL.
"Daryl is a very skilled four man that doesn't over power players, but can step out and knock down the three-pointer," said Williams.
Davis had a great season for the Eagles averaging 17.2 ppg, 11.3 rebounds and 2 blocks. Daryl was voted Player of the Year in the Southern Conference this season.
Davis attended Troy University last season as a freshman and played in 25 games and averaged 3.1 ppg.
"Daryl reminds me somewhat of Marcus Camby," said Swanson.
Southeast Louisiana, St. Louis, Murray State, Jacksonville State and Georgia State are all recruiting Daryl this spring.
