Alabama Southern duo staying together
JucoJunction had a chance to see Alabama Southern Community College this fall past October at the Chipola College Jamboree in Marianna, FL. The Eagles are led by second year head coach Ben Hicks. Rory Miller and teammate Daviel Clements are going together to college next year. JucoJunction has the latest on where these two Eagles will land.
Miller and Clements, both sophomores, will play at the University of North Alabama next season according to head coach Ben Hicks. North Alabama is a NCAA Division 2 program in Florence, AL and is coached by former Division One assistant coach Bobby Champagne.
Clements is ranked No. 101 in the JucoJunction Top 150. Clements averaged 18.2 ppg last season for the Eagles. Miller, a cousin of Clements, played last season at Tallahassee Community College as a freshman averaged 11 ppg. Clements and Miller both hail from Jesup, GA.
