Allen County has plenty to like

JucoJunction had a chance to talk to Head coach Mike Hayes about his Allen County Cardinals. The Cards are currently 16-6 in the Jayhawk Conference.
Trumaine Peterson: (SO) 6-foot-8 from Stuart, FL. Peterson signed in the fall with Georgia Southern. Trumaine also received interest from Arkansas-Little Rock-offered, Arkansas State-offered, Georgia State and Pacific. Peterson is averaging 10.5 ppg and 5.8 rebounds this season.

Louis McCrary" (SO) 5-foot-11 from Macon, GA. McCrary committed over the Christmas break to Columbia College (MO). Louis is a 3rd year scoring point guard who started out at Trinity Valley CC (TX) a few years back. McCrary didn't play at Allen County in the fall.
Elias Yeadon: (SO) 6-foot-7 from Moncks Corner, SC. Yeadon is a clock kid, he started off at Independence CC (KS) running track a few years back.
"EJ has stepped up his play and been very productive and consisent our last five games," says Hayes.
Armstrong Atlantic State (GA),Midwestern State (TX),Florida Southern and Alabama State have shown interest. EJ is at 7.8 ppg and 4.6 rebounds for the Cardinals.
Anthony Barnhart: (SO) 6-foot-3 from Atchinson, KS.
"Anthony has been slowed by injury, but now is close back to 100%" said Hayes.
The athletic wing is a great defender. Arkansas Pine Bluff and Alabama A&M are showing
interest in him. Barnhart is getting 4.5 ppg.
The Cardinals are loaded with 3 solid freshman players in the backcourt. Lloyd Phillips, (FR) 5-foot-10 from Washington DC, Tyray Petty, (FR) 6-foot-3 and Perry Petty, (FR) 6-foot-1, both from Milwaukee, WI.
Phillips is leading the team in scoring at 17.6 ppg and 53.5% (54-101) from 3-point range. Phillips attended Mercyhurst NE (PA) last year but did not play. Phillips attended high school at Coastal Christian Academy in Virginia Beach, VA. Tyray Petty is getting 13.5 ppg and Perry is at 14.1 ppg for the Cardinals.
