Aloha! Henry Plans Second Trip

Tim Henry, a high scoring 6-4, 180 pound red-shirt freshman swingman from Salt Lake C.C. in Salt Lake City, Ut., will take his second official visit this spring to the University of Hawaii.
Henry told JUCO Junction that he will visit Hawaii from Apr. 18-20. He previously visited Wyoming from Apr. 9-11.

"I really liked Wyoming," Henry said. "The coaching staff, the facilities and the conference are all attractive. After the Hawaii visit, I think I will make my decision."
The Cowboys and Rainbows have emerged as the co-leaders for Henry's services this spring. Previously, programs such as Idaho State, Eastern Washington and Brigham Young University were linked with the Orem, Ut., native. In fact, his older brother Scott attends ISU.
Henry was a first team All-Region 18 selection in 2002-2003 after he averaged 19.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game for the Bruins. Salt Lake was eliminated from the Region 18 Tournament last month in the semifinal round by eventual champion Dixie State College.
In the opening (quarterfina) round, Henry was masterful in the Bruins' 90-70 victory over Snow College. He scored 31 points on 13 of 20 shooting and collected four steals.
Henry has good wheels and decent athleticism. He's a proficient midrange jump shooter, but he racked up a lot of points in transition on the day we caught him in action. On top of that, he will also have three years to play on the D-I level.
If Henry does reach a decision following his trip to Hawaii, count on JUCO Junction to let you know.
