An Avenger Stays in the Big City

One Avenger player won't have to travel far next season to play his college basketball. JucoJunction.com found out today from ASA Institute Head Coach Kenny Wilcox that one of his players has signed a national letter of intent for next season.
Roberto Colonette will head off to Manhattan College next season according to Wilcox. Colonette a third year player from Queens,NY started his college career at Globe Tech in 2007-2008. Colonette played at Robert F Kennedy High School.

Colonette was named Honarable Mention-All American this season. He helped the Avengers to Region XV Division 1 Championship for the second consecutive year, in only their second year as a program.
Colonette averaged 13.1 ppg, 8.5 rebounds and 2 assists this season for the Avengers. He shot 58% (144-250) from the floor this season. JucoJunction will follow more action from the Big Apple all spring long right here on your source for junior college basketball.
