Andrews Commits To Bradley

After taking visits to Washington State and Bradley, Zach Andrews has decided to put an end to his recruitment. The 6-foot-8, 218-pound power forward from Yuba College in Marysville, Calif., returned home from an official visit this past weekend and knew that a decision had already been made.
“Yes, Zach has given a commitment to Bradley,” Yuba College head coach Doug Cornelius said. “I think that he just felt extremely comfortable with the situation at Bradley. He recently took a visit to Washington State and that is where I thought he was going, but he promised Bradley he would visit, so he did that. Once he returned from his visit, he told me that he was ready to commit and didn’t want to take another visit.”

Coach Cornelius indicated that Andrews has the ability to be one of the top power forwards in the junior college ranks. He is a rebounding machine and is not afraid to do the dirty work down low.
“Zach is one of the top power forwards in the country,” Coach Cornelius said. “He is 6-foot-8, is very long, is active and runs the floor like a deer. He needs to develop his outside game, but that is something we will work on this year. Zach is a Dennis Rodman type player. He is relentless on the boards. He had 21-rebounds for us in one half last year, so he can definitely rebound the basketball.”
