Another Iowa Western commitment

Two days in a row and two college commitments for next fall from Iowa Western Community College. Assistant coach James Bankhead gave JucoJunction a heads up today on another Reivers player that has found a school for next fall in this article.

"Jeff Allgood will play at Eastern Kentucky University in the Ohio Valley Conference next season and will have three years to play for EKU," said Bankhead.

Allgood, a 6-foot-2 (190) freshman from nearby Bellevue, NE, started his college career at West Point as a Army Cadet according to Bankhead.

"Jeff is a very tough-nosed kid that has a crazy basketball knowledge and NBA range from three point line," said Bankhead.

Allgood excels in the classroom with a 4.0 GPA.

Allgood, a shooting guard, averaged 8 ppg this season while shooting 41% (51-125) from three point range for the Reivers. Allgood scored a season high of 20 points versus Broward State College in late December.
