Another Redlands prospect going Division One

Redlands Community College is under a new direction this season with a new head coach in former player Yaphett King. King was an assistant coach at Cowley College the past seasons under former Redlands Community College head coach Steve Eck. King took over late this summer for Win Case who moved onto Middle Tennessee State University as a assistant coach. JucoJunction has the latest on one Redlands player who has made a decision about next season.

Marvin Roberts, (SO) 6-foot-5 (210) from Brooklyn, NY, will play at Cal State Fullerton next season according to assistant coach Kenneth Gordon. Marvin played one season of prep school ball at Milestone Prep Academy in Raleigh,NC under coach Gordon. Roberts is the first player under coach King to commit this fall. Coach King is a Cal State Fullerton graduate and played for the Titans after leaving Redlands Community as a player.

Roberts also received interest from High Point in the recruiting process this fall. Marvin averaged 11 ppg and 4 rebounds last season.
