Another school in on Barksdale
Blinn College guard Maurice Barksdale just took his first official visit over the weekend.
"He took a visit to Centenary College this weekend," said coach Steve Spurlin. "I haven't talked to him yet today since he got back."

While Barksdale is taking the recruiting process pretty slowly, there is still quite a bit of interest.
"I know Eastern Illinois is coming in to see him," Spurlin said. "North Carolina-Wilmington is talking about coming in this week. Idaho is wanting to set up a visit."
One new school has entered the picture for Barksdale's services.
"I talked to Mississippi State this weekend about him," Spurlin said. "I talked to them at Kingwood this weekend. Something happened down there and they were pretty interested in him."
Spurlin said he doesn't get the feeling Barksdale will make a decision anytime soon.
