Apaches duo decides

The NCAA Signing Period is officially here today for mens basketball. Two players from the Lone Star State have a found a future destination in Conference USA for next fall. Read more about these players in this article right here on your source for junior college basketball recruiting news.
Malcolm Moore and Mitch Marquis will both reamin teammates again next season as they will both suit up for the Miners of UTEP in Conference USA.

Moore, an Iowa City native, confirmed his committment to the Iowa City Pree Citizen Newspaper. Marquis spent part of his life in Iowa growing up and played AAU basketball with Martin Brothers Select with Moore.
Moore and Marquis are currently sophomores at Tyler Junior College in Tyler, T.X. Marquis is a coach's son that runs the point guard position for the Apaches. Moore averaged 15.5 points and 5.8 rebounds per game while shooting 62.6 percent (161-257) from the floor last year. Marquis averaged 5.2 ppg and 6.3 assists per game from the point guard position.
"Mitch is a very heady player that can really find the open man on the floor and makes his teammates happy with his decisions," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
Look for these two Apache players to see some time next season for the Miners with the need of filling eight scholarships for head coach Tim Floyd.
