Apaches guard to Big Sky

The Big Sky Conference seems to land junior college players every season. JucoJunction found out today that one player from Arizona will take his game to Big Sky Country next fall. Read more about this player and his future destination right here on your source for junior college basketball news.
"Xavier Johnson-Blount has signed with Montana State University for next season," said Cochise College Head Coach Jerry Carillo.

Johnson-Blount is a shooting guard from Norfolk, V.A. who averaged 21.7 points and 4.8 rebounds per game this past season for the Apaches.
Johnson-Blount received interest from the Bobcats, IPFW and Eastern Illinois University this spring according to Carillo. "Xavier can really get after it by creating his own shot from all over the floor," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
