Arizona POY decides
Kenny Dawkins, (SO) 5-foot-9 (155) and a point guard from Arizona Western College, has signed with Lamar University in Beaumont, TX.
Dawkins averaged 17 ppg and 4.5 assists this season for the Matadors. Kenny was voted ACCAC Player of the Year and was voted a 2nd Team All American this year.

The Holly Springs, MS native received interest from Boise State, Utah State and Gonzaga before deciding on Lamar. Dawkins will now be teammates once again with former high school players Lamar Sanders and Currye Todd. Sanders and Todd are starters for the Cardinals.
"I think that Lamar is a good fit for him, I really do," said AWC Head coach Kelly Green. "I think he's a guy who can really go in and have an impact on the program. His attitude and personality is contagious."
