Arkansas' football and basketball programs are preparing for what will be a very big week of recruiting in both sports.
For football, the Hogs hope to get good news on Friday at 10 a.m. when Bastrop (La.) wide receiver Isaiah Graham makes his decision known. The heavily-recruited three-star prospect is down to Arkansas, TCU, Mississippi State and Tennessee. He has taken officials to Arkansas and TCU and was in Starkville for an unofficial visit this past weekend.
Arkansas was the first to offer Graham at the beginning of his junior year.
In addition to Graham's announcement, there are also two known official visitors for the upcoming weekend at this time, and both are major targets in this year's class. They're also high school teammates at Manvel (Texas) High -- linebacker Jordan Carmouche and running back D'Vaughn Pennamon, a current Ole Miss commitment.
The Razorbacks only have a few spots remaining for this year's class, but Pennamon and Carmouche are two that they've been working on for well over a year and would love to sign in February.
On the basketball front, it's the weekend that Hog fans have been waiting for as five-star guard Malik Monk makes the short drive from Bentonville for his official visit.
Monk has a top group of Arkansas, Kentucky, Kansas, Oregon, Florida State and North Carolina. He's been to Oregon, Kansas and Kentucky for officials thus far.
The Razorbacks will have a guest recruiter on campus for Monk's visit as already-committed JUCO guard Daryl Macon planned his official visit around Monk's schedule. The Hogs will also host a key 6-10, 220-pound center in Andrew Gordon of South Kent (Conn.).
