Arnold finds school

Norvell Arnold has just completed summer school work according to his brother Donald Griffin. Arnold has played the past two seasons at Southeastern Community College in West Burlington, IA. Arnold visited Eastern Illinois, Detroit Mercy and University of Rhode Island already this past spring. Arnold now has a school he can call home for next season. "Norvell will play at Utah State University next season. Utah State is a perfect fit for Norvell and it gives him a great chance to play for a great coach" said Blackhawks Assistant Coach Lorenzo Watkins.

Arnold scored 1,071 career points for the Blackhawks and averaged 18 ppg, 5.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists this past season while shooting 52% (190-366) from the floor.
The Blackhawks made it to the NJCAA National Tourney in Hutchinson, KS and finished the year at 23-13. Arnold prepped at Progressive Christian Academy in Camp Springs, MD before heading off to junior college. Arnold will have two years to play at the next level.
