As usual, CSI is loaded

CSI is no stranger to having a lot of talent. This year's Golden Eagles team in Twin Falls, ID is no exception. The Golden Eagles are averaging 112.9 ppg this season and play up to 16 kids a game. CSI currently holds a one game lead over Salt Lake City CC in the always tough Scenic West Conference. JucoJunction had a chance to talk to assistant coach Steve Gosar on what is going on with the sophomores at CSI.
Brandon Stores: (SO) 6-foot-9 (210) signed early with TCU. Stores played at Panola JC (TX) as a freshman.

Kelvin Davis: (SO) 6-foot-4 (210) from Waterbury, CT. Kelvin is now a 3rd year player after sitting out last season at UTEP. Davis played at UTEP back in the 2004-2005 season.
"Kelvin is a very athletic wing player that finishes over players," said Gosar.
Davis is averaging 16.8 ppg and 4.5 rebounds this year. Arkansas (offered), Illinois, San Diego State, BYU, TCU, Miami (FL)and UNLV are all watching Kelvin this spring.
Kevin Ford: (SO) 6-foot-8 (235) from Portland, OR. Ford transferred in from New Mexico State where he played in 30 games last season and averaged 14.5 minutes a game. The big 4/5 man has a great body and is very athletic.
"Kevin can really score it going to the rim," said Gosar.
Kevin is at 8.8 ppg and 59% (61-103) from the floor this season. Ball State (offered), New Mexico, Colorado State, Fullerton, Portland State and New Mexico State are recruiting the post player.
Paul Wayne: (SO) 6-foot-0 (175) from Washington, D.C. Wayne just recently joined the team after sitting out 11 games. Wayne transferred in from conference foe Salt Lake City CC.
"Paul is a true point guard that deflects passes and gets teammates involved in the offense," said Gosar.
Wayne is averaging 5.9 ppg and four assists in nine games played for the Golden Eagles this season. Boise State, Idaho State, Montana State and Northern Iowa are showing interest in Paul at this time.
Mo Taukiuvea: (SO) 6-foot-5 (250) from Salt Lake City, UT. Mo transferred over from Dixie State (UT) when they went NCAA D2 this past season. Taukiuvea is 25 years old and married--not your typical sophomore in college. Last season at Dixie Mo averaged 12.2 ppg and 6.2 rebounds. Mo has been hurt this season.
"He really feels comfortable on the block and he's a load to handle there," said Gosar.
UT-San Antonio and some Big Sky schools are calling on him while he's averaging 6.1 ppg this season.
Travis Bunker: (SO) 6-foot-5 (200) from Beaver, UT. Bunker is a four man on this very talented team. Travis sat out the 1st semester while being injured with a bad foot. He came to CSI this season from Dixie State where he played last year. Bunker averaged 9.8 ppg and 7.4 rebounds last season.
"Travis really crashes the offensive glass he has a great nose for the ball," said Gosar.
San Diego State, UTEP, Southern Utah and Montana State would love to add his services for next season.
