The NCAA Signing Period started today and some programs didn't waste anytime getting players to sign on the dotted line for next season. Read more in this article what two players will put on uniforms this year in the Atlantic Sun Conference.
Travis Smith and Shaquille Harris will both lace them up for the Mercer University Bears next fall in Macon, G.A.

Smith started his college career at Presbyterian College after graduating from high school from the Porter Gaud School in Charleston, S.C.
Smith averaged 17.6 points and 3 assists per game this season for the 11-18 Gulf Coast Community College Commodores in Panama City, F.L. Smith shot 41.5 percent (44-106) from 3-point range. Smith visited UC Riverside also this spring before deciding on the Bears.
Harris played this season at Enterprise-Ozark Community College. "Shaquille can really create his own shot and has very deep range on the floor," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson. Harris averaged 16 points per game this season for the Boll Weevils. Harris hails from nearby Americus, G.A
