Auburn picks up juco forward
Head Coach Pat Smith of Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, TX has had his share of players go on to the Division One level. This season seems to be no exception to the rule. JucoJunction found out today that one of the Cardinals' players has decided on a future destination for next season.
The Cardinals finished last season at 21-11 under coach Smith. Cardinals sophomore post player Adrian Forbes committed today to the Auburn Tigers of the SEC Conference. Forbes, 6-foot-8 (230), hails from Spanish Townown,Jamaica. Forbes prepped at Notre Dame Prep in Fitchburg, MA before landing in the juco ranks.

"Adrian is a long and very athletic player who can really get up and down the floor in transition. Adrian's best basketball is still in front of him and he is a great pickup for the Auburn Tigers," said JucoJunction staff analyst Bret Swanson.
Forbes averaged 6.3 ppg and 5.5 rebounds last season while shooting 53.3% (71-133) from the floor. Forbes recorded 55 blocks last season for the Cardinals.
