Back court makes impression

JucoJunction saw plenty of action this weekend at Rick Ball's Ballstars Camp in Panama City, FL. South Georgia State College will host a nice little back court this coming season in Jovante' Spivey and Daniel Peace.
Spivey, a combo guard, (more of a 2/1 type) averaged 17 ppg, 4 rebounds and 3.5 assists last season for South Georgia State College. Spivey, a Savannah, GA native is very quick with the ball and can really get his shot off quickly.

Spivey has received early interest from Western Kentucky, Southern Mississippi, Western Carolina, Eastern Kentucky, Arkansas State and Georgia Southern according to South Georgia State College Head coach Cory Baldwin.
Peace is a pure point guard who's not flashy by know means. Peace is a simple leader on the floor and gets his teammates in the right postion. "Daniel plays with a lot of energy and
confidence" said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
Peace led the region last season in assists and steals. Peace averaged 6.9 ppg, 3.6 rebounds
and 6.3 assists last year.
The Hawks will look to improve on the 17-14 record from last season. Make sure to continue to follow JucoJunction for all of your latest junior college basketball news.
