Back for new season

Tevin Lytes took a little bit of time to get things started in his first game back in over a year. Lytes, a power forward from USC Salkehatchie, red-shirted last season for the Indians.
Lytes, a third year sophomore this coming season, will be a five full-time semester player.

"Tevin took a bit of time getting back to the speed of the game but when he got settled in he started to finish around the rim and rebound the ball very well outside of his area," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
Lytes will be looking to lead the Indians this season with fellow sophomore Denzel Collins. Collins, a guard from Savannah, GA averaged 10 ppg last season for the Indians. "Denzel is a strong built guard who plays at a nice pace and can bully up on other guards" said Swanson.
The Indians will look to try to get back to the NJCAA National Tourney again next March and these players will be two leaders on this years roster for head coach Travis Garrett.
