Midland College Head coach Chris Craig informed JucoJunction that Melvin Tabb will play at Kent State University next season. The Raleigh, N.C. native played his freshman season at Wake Forest University.

Tabb received interest from Georgia State, James Madison and Wichita State this spring.
Tabb is ranked No. 34 this season in the 2012 JucoJunction Top 150. He will join forces with Darren Goodson who clocks in at No. 25.
Tabb averaged 9.1 points and 5.9 rebounds per game this season for Chaps.
