Zach Lofton has been in San Jacinto College in Pasadena,TX since March 2012 after leaving Quakerdale Prep in New Providence,IA.
Lofton, a Minnesota native will play next season at Illinois State University in the Missouri Valley Conference.

Lofton averaged 16.6 ppg and 3.8 rebounds this season for the Ravens. Lofton shot 47% (165-319) from the floor and 35% (49-141) from three point range this season.
"Zach is a very talented player with still his best basketball in front of him. I really think this was a great recruiting coup by Illinois State University" said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
Lofton will join forces with Michael Middlebrooks and Bobby Hunter both fellow junior college commitments to the Redbirds this spring.
San Jacinto College finished the season at 24-6. Lofton joins fellow teammate Danny Lawhorn (Washington State) in finiding a NCAA D1 school for this fall.
