Badgers leader prepared for sophomore campaign

The Scenic West Conference this season is the home of the NJCAA National Champions in the College of Southern Idaho. One player from elsewhere in the conference would like to build on his numbers from this past season. Travis Wilkins is already 23-years-old and just a sophomore at Snow College in Utah. The combo guard hails from Springfield, Mo.

Wilkins is a 4.0 student in the classroom did a LDS Mormon Mission out of high school. "Travis is a very crafty left-handed guard who really knows how to play the game. Travis is like having a coach on the floor with his quick and heady decisions," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
Wilkins averaged 17 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2 assists per game last season for the Badgers. Wilkins shot 41 percent (67-162) from 3-point range on the season.
JucoJunction had a chance to Wilkins play last month at the Mullens JUCO Camp on the campus of Lindenwood University in St Charles, Mo.
