Barro Wont Enroll at Seward County
Ousmane Barro, a 6-9 power forward/center from Africa, will not enroll at Seward County C.C. in Kansas this fall.
JUCO Junction spotted Barro this past week at the Five-Star Basketball Camp in Honesdale, Penn. Barro made the top all-star game at Five-Star for his play during the Aug. 22-27 session.

JUCO Junction spoke with Julian H.S. Head Coach Loren Jackson at Five-Star, and he confirmed for us that Barro won't be attending Seward County this fall.
Barro will instead re-enroll at Julian H.S., and spend the 2003-2004 school year sitting out and trying to become eligible to enroll at a Division I school in 2004-2005.
Barro spent much of the past year in Liberal, Kan., working on a GED diploma.
Barro's loss is a big blow to the Saints frontcourt in 2003-2004.
