Barton guard headed to the northeast

Javon Parris has been gone from the northeastern part of the United States for the last three seasons. Parris will now take his game to the MAAC Conference next season. JucoJunction has the latest on the guard from Barton County Community College in this story.
Parris, a (SO) 6-foot-3 (185) combo guard from Brooklyn, NY, will play at Marist College this fall according to Barton County Community College Head coach Craig Fletchall. Parris attended the College of Charleston for two years before heading to Great Bend, KS this past fall to play for the Cougars. Parris played at Our Saviors New American School out on Long Island.
Javon averaged 11.4 ppg, 5.4 assists and 3.8 rebounds this past season for the Cougars. Parris made second team All-Jayhawk Conference from the Western Division.
