Bearkats add duo

Will Bond is headed back to the Division One level and will play at Sam Houston State this fall. Bond started his college career at NJIT after prepping at MACK Prep in Charlotte, N.C. for Head Coach Will Sperow.

Bond averaged 5.4 points and 3 rebounds per game this season for the Trinity Valley College Cardinals. The Cardinals recently lost their head coach as Pat Smith is headed back to Moberly Area College in Missouri.
Wallace State-Hanceville Head Coach John Meeks informed JucoJunction that Jeremy McKay will play Sam Houston State University next fall. Bond and McKay will join Nate Mason from Des Moines Area Community College on the Bearkats roster next season.
McKay averaged 16.1 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game for the Lions this season. The Lions made it to the NJCAA National Tourney in Hutchinson, Kan. and finished the season at 19-17.
McKay received interest from Robert Morris,Campbell and Sam Houston State this spring according to Meeks.
