Bears guard stays out west

The post season accolades are sure to come for Brandon Brown from Phoenix College. Brown, a point guard, has committed to play at Loyola Marymount University next season.
Loyola Marymount received a commitment from Shamar Johnson in the junior college ranks just a few days ago.

Brown finished up his career at Phoenix College with a 3rd place finish in the NJCAA D2 National Tourney. The Bears defeated Des Moines Area Community College 82-73.
Brown averaged 24.7 ppg this season while connecting on 48% (296-622) from the floor.
Brown finished his two year career with 1,603 points in 71 games played at Phoenix College.
The Bears won the NJCAA D2 National Championship last season lost in the semifinals to eventual champion Richard Bland College 87-85 in double overtime this past week.
Brown will receive many post season accolades and will have two seasons play at Loyola Marymount University.
