D.J. Bennett will suit up next season for the University of Oklahoma in the Big 12 Conference. Bennett has the played the past two seasons at Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa.

Bennett is ranked No. 55 in the 2012 JucoJunction Top 150. He averaged 7.2 points and 4.6 rebounds for the Warriors this season. Bennett hails from Orland Park, Ill. located near Chicago.
Bennett helped the Warriors to a 3-1 record at the NJCAA National Tourney this past March in Hutchinson, Kan. The Warriors finished the season at 32-5 under head coach Barrett Peery.
