Big man leaves Cali

Charles Joseph has left Southwestern Community College in Chula Vista, CA near San Diego for Salt Lake Community College according to the NJCAA National Letter of Intent Signings list.

Joseph, nicknamed "Snacks," is a 6-foot-9 inch power forward from Brooklyn who averaged 17.5 points and 10.3 rebounds per game last season for the Jaguars.
Joseph who attended Southshore High School shot 58 percent (160-277) from the floor. The big man also posted 71 blocks on the season while stepping out to shoot 42 percent (39-92) from 3-point range. Joseph scored a season high 28 points this past season versus Los Angeles Southwest and Palomar College.
Joseph made first team All-Pacific Coast Athletic Conference for the Jaguars. Look for Joseph to take his game to the always rugged Scenic West Conference next season to play the likes of College of Southern Idaho, Eastern Utah and Snow College.
