Big man to Conference USA
Weatherford College now has five players moving onto the Division 1 level for next season. The Coyotes didn't have the year they expected on the floor but the recruiting went very well for the players including their big man Beas Hamga.
"Beas Hamga has signed with UAB for next season" said Coyotes Head Coach Dave Donnelly. Hamga 7-foot-0 and the 35th ranked player in the JucoJunction Top 150 will play in Conference USA next fall. Hamga received late interest from Rutgers, Colorado and Washington State.

Hamga who spent time at UNLV out of high school will have two years to play for the Blazers. The center started his high school career at Stoneridge Prep in Tarzana, CA as freshman. Hamga then journeyed to Cornerstone Christian in San Antonio, TX and Decatur Christian in Decatur, IL.
"Beas is truly a better fit for the four year level than the juco level" said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson. Hamga played on the AAU circuit with Indiana Elite based out of Bloomington,IN.
