Big South bound

The Big South Conference is no stranger to filling roster spots and needs from the junior college ranks. Branimir Mikulic came to the United States a few seasons back and plans on staying a little longer. Mikulic recently signed with High Point University in North Carolina after playing the past two seasons at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, F.L.

"Branimir is a great pick and pop type player. He really has a great ability to shoot the ball very well for his size," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson. Mikulic 6-foot-9 hails from Herzegovina.
Mikulic averaged 8 points and 5.9 rebounds per game this season while shooting 37.6 percent (52-138) from 3-point range. Mikulic is the third player from the Saints 18-13 squad to sign on with a D1 program for next fall.
