Big visit weekend

This is a big week for UCF to potentially finish their 2015 men's basketball recruiting class with a bang.
Donnie Jones and staff have held longtime commitments from a pair of players: Power forward Chad Brown of Deltona and Winter Haven point guard Chance McSpadden.

This weekend, the Knights will host two uncommitted prospects: Tavares (Fla.) Liberty Christian Prep center Tacko Fall and Daytona State small forward Tanksley Efianayi.
Fall, who is 7-foot-5, will attend Thursday's UCF-BYU football game unofficially and then return Friday afternoon for the beginning of his official visit. He's considered one of the best big men in the Southeast with offers ranging from Georgia Tech, Georgetown, Wake Forest, Baylor, Purdue, Vanderbilt, Kansas State, Tennessee, Texas Tech, Tulsa, UTEP and Xavier.
A native of Senegal, Fall visited Georgia Tech last weekend and has an upcoming trip scheduled to Georgetown. He's already been to UCF several times, including game visits last season.
"Tacko Fall has the desire and work ethic to be great," said Steve Reece, Fall's AAU coach with E1T1 Elite. "He's a kid that comes to practice ready to learn and improve each time. He's always the first one there and the last one to leave. He's a great kid to be around too."
He arrived in the United States in October 2012, first to Houston and then making the move to the Central Florida area.
"The transition to living in America wasn't that bad," Fall told Rivals.com in a previous interview. "I had to adapt to the language, the food, new people, almost everything. I think I've improved a lot since I arrived, even more than I thought I would. My strength, my confidence."
Academics will be important to Fall, who plans to major in biochemistry.
"School was easier here than in my country," Fall said. "I haven't had a lot of problems with academics. I like math, chemistry and biology."
Efianayi is one of the top junior college prospects in the country. A native of Orlando who played high school ball at nearby University, the 6-foot-5 wing recently took official visits to Arizona State and St. John's. Other offers include Alabama, DePaul, East Carolina, Florida State, Kansas State and USC.
As a freshman at Daytona State last season, Efianayi averaged 15.7 points and 6.4 rebounds. He also attended several UCF games.
"I would describe my game as versatile," Efianayi recently told ASUDevils.com. "I can score the ball in different ways, I can play different positions, sneaky athletic. I like to let other people decide for themselves what I'm like."
