Big weekend ahead

Only time will tell if Arkansas can sign the type of class it needs in the Class of 2016, but Mike Anderson's staff will definitely have major prospects on campus for official visits this fall.
At least seven Razorback targets have set their official visits for this month and October, and many of them are considered some of the top prospects in the nation. The officials begin this weekend when Jaylen Fisher and Cameron McGriff head to Fayetteville.

Fisher, a 6-2 point guard out of Memphis (Tenn.) Bolton, is rated the No. 54 prospect in the nation by Rivals.com, has Arkansas in his top six along with Baylor, Indiana, LSU, Memphis and UNLV. In addition to those schools, he also holds offers from UCONN, Florida, Iowa State, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and others.
McGriff is a 6-7 forward from Grand Prairie (Texas) South Grand Prairie who holds offers from Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Miami, Houston, SMU, Creighton and others. Both Fisher and McGriff will be in attendance for Arkansas' season-opening football game against UTEP on Saturday afternoon.
On September 18-20, the Hogs will host two more of their most wanted.
Jaylen Barford, 6-4, 200, is a JUCO guard from Motlow State in Lynchburg (Tenn.) that the Hogs have been active with for a while now. In addition to the Razorbacks, he's also claimed offers from Alabama, Auburn, Missouri, Memphis, Texas Tech, Xavier and others.
Instate power forward Eric Curry of Little Rock Southwest Christian Academy is slated to be on the Hill that weekend, as well. Curry's recruitment began to really take off over the summer, and his offer sheet now includes the likes of Arkansas, Minnesota, Oklahoma State, SMU, Iowa State and others. He is expected to visit Minnesota this weekend and SMU next weekend before heading to Fayetteville.
The nation's No. 76 overall prospect, power forward Tyler Cook of St. Louis (Mo.) Chaminade, will be in town for his official visit on the weekend of September 25, the same weekend Arkansas' football team plays Texas A&M in Arlington (Texas). Cook, who owns other offers from Kansas, Kansas State, Iowa State, Memphis, Florida, Missouri and more, made an unofficial trip to Fayetteville this summer.
Jumping ahead to late October, Arkansas will host its No. 1 overall target in Bentonville five-star guard Malik Monk. The nation's No. 6 prospect announced on Tuesday that he'll officially visit the Hogs on October 24. Monk also set visits to Oregon (Sept. 18), Kansas (Oct. 9) and Kentucky (Oct. 16). He is in the process of scheduling trips to Florida State and North Carolina, as well.
Arkansas' lone commitment for the 2016 class, JUCO guard Daryl Macon of Holmes (Miss.) CC, will also be in town for an official visit on the weekend of October 23-25. -
