Billikens Pick Up Florida JUCO Center
Tom Frericks, a 6-9, 250 pound center from Chipola J.C. in Marianna, Fla., has committed to St. Louis University.
A native of Bowling Green, Ky., this will be Frericks second go around in Conference USA. He spent two years at Alabama-Birmingham from 2000-2002 prior to transferring into Chipola this past fall.

JUCO Junction confirmed this commitment with Chipola Head Coach Ryan Wolf this week.
Despite not being blessed with great footspeed or athleticism, Frericks is a big physical body who does a lot of the little things. He sets great picks/screens, can finish capably around the basket and will defend and rebound in the post.
Frericks is expected to sign a national letter of intent with the Billikens during the spring signing period, which commences on Wednesday, April 16.
