Blackburn to the Atlantic 10

Ray Blackburn, (SO) 6-foot-0 (195) from Lackawanna, NY, will stay close to home next season and play for the St. Bonaventure Bonnies of the A-10 Conference.

Blackburn, a combo guard from Erie Community College in Buffalo, NY, helped his team to a eighth place finish at this year's National Tourney in Danville,IL. Ray averaged 19.8 ppg, 6.8 assists, 3.5 steals and 4.7 rebounds is this season for (27-7) Erie Community College Kats. Blackburn finished his career at ECC with 888 points over two seasons.

Blackburn scored 2,039 career points in high school at ranks 10th in Western New York history. Youngstown State and Norfolk State also showed interest in Blackburn this spring.
