Blackhawks Forward Moves On

Southeastern Community College in West Burlington, IA is no stranger to putting players into the division one ranks. Blackhawks Head Coach Terry Carroll can putdown another kid will move next season. This season the Blackhwaks had a player who never take the floor in his time in West Burlington. JucoJunction has the latest on this player in this article.
John Wilkins will have 3 years remaining to play at the NCAA. Wilkins signed today with Illinois State University according to Blackhawks Assistant Coach Lorenzo Watkins. Wilkins signed with Bradley University coming out of high school in Belgium. Wilkins enrolled at Southeastern Community College in January 2009 and has yet to take the floor for the Blackhawks. "John is a very highly skilled player who can really stroke the ball from the perimeter" said Watkins.

John's father Jeff Wilkins played at Illinois State University back in 80's. Wilkins received strong interest this spring from Iowa State, Indiana, Iowa, Providence, Bradley and Houston according to coach Watkins. "John will take his game to Illinois State University next fall to play for the Redbirds" said Watkins.
