Blair arrives

Jim Morris has been the head coach at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, I.A. for 16 years now. The Reivers started off the season at 3-9 but have rallied to win five games in a row. Montez Blair (pictured on the front page) recently became eligible at the break and that has paid huge dividends for the Reivers.

The shooting guard is a division one transfer from the Naval Academy. He recently scored 28 points in his second game in a uniform for Iowa Western Community College versus Vincennes University.
Blair is currently averaging 23.5 points in two games so far while shooting 42 percent (8-19) from 3-point range.
Jeremy Robinson has been solid all season for the Reivers and is currently averaging 18.9 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.
Robinson is shooting 51.4 percent (131-255) from the floor. The Decatur, I.L. native started his college career at Illinois State University.
The addition of Blair hopes to make things interesting in conference play for the Reivers as they have to face the likes of Indian Hills, Marshalltown Community College and Southeastern Community College in region play over the next few months.
