Blinn has a pair to watch

Blinn College in Brenham, TX is currently 13-9 under first year head coach Tra Arnold. The Buccaneers play in the the rugged East Texas Region with the likes of San Jacinto, Tyler Junior College and Trinity Valley just to name a few. JucoJunction was able to touch base with coach Arnold on a couple of his players' recruitment in this article.
Kahlil McDonald, (SO) 6-foot-4 guard from Brooklyn, NY, has currently scored 1,196 career points at Blinn College. McDonald is currently averaging 25.3 ppg this season after scoring 49 points versus conference rival Panola College recently. McDonald is currently the all-time leading scorer at Blinn and three-point shots made. Charlotte, Nebraska, Georgia, Iowa State, St. Joseph's, Houston, Texas Christian and Auburn have shown interest in the scoring guard according to coach Arnold.

"Kahlil is a special kid who lives in the gym who has already received his associates of arts degree at Christmas," said Arnold.
McDonald is currently shooting 48% from three point range while grabbing 6.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists a outing. McDonald hit 102 three-pointers as a freshman.
Gary Nichols is averaging 14.3 ppg and 4.7 rebounds this season for the Buccaneers while shooting 49% (90-185) from the floor. Nichols, nicknamed "Deuce," signed with the Naval Academy out of high school.
"Deuce is a tough hard-nosed coach's son. Gary is a real good defender who usually guards the opposing team's best offensive player," said Arnold.
