Blue Dragons among Jayhawks best

Head coach Ryan Swanson is back in the coaching ranks taking over the Hutchinson CC Blue Dragons. The Blue Dragons are pre- season #2 behind Dodge City in the always tough Jayhawk West Division.
Swanson's last gig was at Garden City CC and prior to that was at UW-Milwaukee (assistant coach).

Nolan Richardson (SO) is 6-foot-2 (180) from Tulsa, OK. Richardson is a combo guard and is a transfer from Northern Oklahoma-Enid where he averaged 19 points
last year.
"Nolan is a big time shooter, he will get a lot of open looks for us," said assistant coach Jeremy Miles. "He's more comfortable at the 2 guard."
Nolan is the grandson of former Arkansas coach Nolan Richardson.
Houston, Lamar, North Texas, Texas A&M, Weber State, Clemson, Kansas State and Wichita State have all called on Nolan.
Nate Brumfield (SO) is 6-foot-4 (235) from Rochester, NY. Brumfield is a 3/4 man who is very physically strong.
"Nate is going to be our guy, he finishes around the rim and his great on getting to the foul line," said Miles.
Brumfield averaged 12.4 points and 6.3 rebounds and shot 59% from the floor last season.
He is a power player that likes to stalk the baselines.
Kansas State, St John's, Weber State, Utah State, Morehead State and St. Bonaventure are interested.
Bobby Davis (SO) is 6-foot-6 (225) from Aiken, SC.
"Bobby is our most consistent player," Miles commented. "He averaged 6.1 points per game and 6.3 rebounds last year. Bobby is very basketball smart, he is our glue guy."
He can knock down the 18-20 footer, he is more of 4/3 man. Wichita State, Winthrop, Appalachian State and Coppin State are recruiting Davis.
Brandon Cameron (SO) is 6-foot-5 (190) from Buhler, KS.
"Brandon is a 3 man that shoots the heck out of it,"Miles said. "His father is a high school coach and he just makes shots."
Tennessee Tech, Morehead State and Tennessee-Martin are calling on Cameron.
The Blue Dragons will have 3 freshman that will see the floor a lot this season in Ricky Boyles 6'7 (225), Ken Bowman 6'9 (240) and Lamar Falley 6'4 (180).
