Richardson, nicknamed "Boo," led the Red Ravens with 15.6 points per game this season. He also led the team in three-pointers made and attempted, free throws made and attempted, steals and assists. One of Richardson's teammates could be close behind in making a decision. Forward Anthony Slack could make a commitment as soon as next week.
"He visited Illinois State also last weekend and is visiting Missouri State this weekend," Herkelman said. "Other schools are interested, but we'll wait and see how his visit goes. I think it will probably be between those two."
Slack averaged 11.6 points, nine rebounds and 2.5 blocks a game this season. He also shot 75% from the floor in Coffeyville's four games at the national tournament.
"He's an athletic forward," Herkelman said. "He hs always been a good rebounded and he's progressively become better and better as a scorer. He was the top forward during the national tournament."
