Bostick headed to the Big Ten

Devron Bostick grew up watching the Big 10 Conference play while living in Racine, WI. Bostick will now play next season in the Big 10 Conference at the University of Minnesota.

Bostick, (SO) 6-foot-4 (210), had a great freshman season last season in Region 24. Devron averaged 19.1 ppg, 4.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists last season while shooting 54.2% (245-452) from the floor. Bostick hit on 32.9% (53-161) from three-point range.

"Devron is an athletic guard that is great in an up-tempo style of play," said Campo. "Devron really liked Coach Tubby Smith and the style of play the Gophers plan on playing."

Bostick gathered Region 24 Player of the Year honors and Region 24 Freshman on the Year honors last season for the Blue Storm. The awards didn't stop there for Devron as he also received 2nd team All-American honors last season. Bostick signed with Youngstown State out of high school but didn't qualify academically. Bostick received interest from St. Louis University, Washington State and Northern Illinois University.
